VIRGINIA BEACH JUSTICE INITIATIVE
The Virginia Beach Justice Initiative’s mission is to bring an end to sex trafficking by empowering the residents of Hampton Roads’ cities and the surrounding region through education, awareness, advocacy and prevention campaigns. We partner with other organizations that are involved in the work of eradicating sex trafficking and bringing restoration to former victims. Serve the City has monthly serve days on Saturdays from 8:30-12:30 (and daily for one week during the summer) serving at various times, the homeless, refugees, children in need, elderly, disabled, and others. HAMPTON OPPORTUNITIES INITIATIVE
– Building strong, supportive relationships with principals and teachers at multiple elementary schools within the Hampton City Schools system.
– Identifying educational, tutoring, and mentoring needs for students that, when met, will improve their learning levels and quality of life.
– Raising financial resources that can be strategically used to provide students with the educational materials and programs needed to improve their learning.
– Proactively connecting willing and able volunteers with school leadership to provide tutoring and mentor relationships for students.

Vision: To demonstrate the love and provision of Christ by aiding and empowering those in need to attain personal independence and a sustainable future by providing resources, community connections, and advocacy.
